Xiaomi will bring MIUI 12.5 Enhanced to these nine Mi 11 and Mi 10 models worldwide

Xiaomi started to launch MIUI 12.5 Enhanced in China on August 13 to select devices, and plans to complete the first batch today. Other things happened today-the company announced that an enhanced version of its Android skin will be available worldwide.

The following equipment will be updated in the last quarter of this year (October to December):

•Xiaomi Mi 11
• Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra
• Xiaomi Mi 11i
• Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro
• Xiaomi Mi 11X
• Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G
• Xiaomi Mi 10T 5G
• Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G
• Xiaomi Mi 10 5G

It should be noted that the list of Chinese models to be updated is longer, and some of the corresponding global models are not in the above list, so we may see Xiaomi expand MIUI 12.5 Enhanced to more mobile phones.

As the name suggests, this is an enhanced version of MIUI 12.5 released in December. There are hundreds of fixes and adjustments, but the key words are optimization and longevity.

"Atomic memory" optimizes memory usage, allowing the phone to retain more applications in the background. Another optimization reduces CPU usage by 15% and power consumption by 8% in some cases.

“Liquid Storage” will keep the internal memory in optimum condition, which will slow down its aging – according to Xiaomi, the rear/write performance will degrade only 5% after 36 months of usage.
